Towing is the bulk of what we do, and it is what the company is built around. Our rollback flatbeds run out of two Southwest Side yards, so a call from Bridgeport, Brighton Park, Pilsen or Little Village does not start with a truck crossing the whole city.
We tow 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Nights, weekends and holidays are not special cases — they are most of the work. And you can explain what happened in English or in Spanish, whichever is easier.

What to tell us when you call
The faster we can picture your situation, the faster the right truck leaves the yard. Have these ready if you can: the cross streets, or the highway and the nearest exit; the year, make and model; whether the vehicle rolls and steers; and where it needs to go.
If you are on a shoulder or sitting in a live traffic lane, say that first. Stay belted in the vehicle while traffic is moving past you, or get well behind the guardrail if it is safe to step out.
The trucks that show up
Our fleet is rollback flatbeds plus a wrecker. A flatbed carries the whole vehicle up on the deck, which is the right call for all-wheel drive, low ground clearance, damaged suspension, or anything that should not be rolling on its own wheels.
Every truck is marked with the JD Towing crest and our number. If you are standing on a corner at night waiting, that is what to look for.
Where we tow to
A repair shop, a dealership, your home, a body shop after a crash, or one of our yards. Tell us the destination when you call and we will confirm it with you before the vehicle goes up on the deck.
We work the roads around both yards every day: I-55, I-290, the Dan Ryan and the Kennedy, I-294, and the surface routes in between — Ogden, Archer, Pulaski and Cicero.
